Three cheers! My daughter, Shannon, caught a photo of her son when he was sitting quietly, and I wanted to share it with you. Jody’s almost 18, and an amazing young man. Simply the best!

And Shannon has a new horse: Lunada. She joined the family today. She’s small, unflappable, and a gaited horse. Just what my daughter needs after being thrown earlier this year by a horse that spooked easily. Shan even sent me a YouTube video of Lunada so I could see her go through her routine. Indeed, at one point she did look as if she were floating.
