My brother, David Crook, and I visited Desert Botanical Garden yesterday. The glass art work by Dale Chihuly was simply stunning. Here are a few of the photos. I edited them in various artistic software…it seemed to enhance the photos. Nothing can compare with the real thing, however.
My brother, David Crook, and I went to Wildlife World Zoo & Aquarium Monday, December 29, and had an incredible time. Glorious weather. Grand opening of the Aquarium. It is spectacular. And the restaurant will be something quite special.
Many of the flamingos had been moved to new digs, and it is a gorgeous setting. Here’s a shot. I’ll have a slide show later. This photo has been redigitized by me. Sometimes I can’t resist adding a magic touch to my photos.

One thing about photographing with another person is the risk that the person will take unwanted pictures of you. It happened again. I was shooting the Monarch on the lovely hanging flowers when brother David shot me. At least it doesn’t show the wrinkles on my face!
