What a delight to travel to Sedona via Montezuma Well in early August. My brother and I spent quite a bit of time at Montezuma Well along Beaver Creek…the outflow area in particular was very special.
By the time we’d gone through everything, I was tired, but hey, I wasn’t driving. So we enjoyed our purified water and the car’s air conditioner and headed toward Sedona. Spectacular, from every direction. I can’t help but think that the people who live in Sedona are very blessed. Rugged, colorful beauty is everywhere. And we also had the special joy of a sky full of fluffy white clouds.
We were practically in someone’s yard when we photographed this gorgeous hunk of rock.
We made perhaps eight or ten stops, and then headed north to the West Fork of Oak Creek. But that’s another story for another time.
