Yay! Mixed in with my recently planted sunflower seed were the seeds of some of my dad’s spectacular sunflowers. He grew them in the 1980s at his home in BZ Corners, Washington, and gave me some of the seeds. This morning, I discovered a beautiful bronze sunflower in my Sunflower garden, shot it, and as usual, redigitized it:
Did I mention that the seeds from other sunflowers of Dad’s that I grew are at least eight years old. Let’s hear it for old seeds! And people! And here’s another rendition…
