Office Support Services began in 1992 out of Peoria, Arizona. At that time, I handled off-site administrative assistance of all kinds. Through the years I found myself helping businesspeople with content and formatting of letters, press releases, brochures, and other promotional material. The creative aspects of my business were in this area, rather than in spreadsheets, databases, and related activities.
In 1998 I went online, and jumped into the Internet with enthusiasm. I studied night and day to learn how to create websites, and to market my business and myself. Slowly I found a niche in editing, writing, and consulting in the area of small businesses. Mostly online.
A couple of years ago I moved my editing and writing services to another website, while keeping many functions of Office Support Services on this site: my ezine, Communication Expressway; the free ezine template; the Idiom Sisters Content Rich Award; and many articles for writers and Web developers.
Last year I started Digifeld, a digital editing business. Both businesses are under the Office Support Services umbrella.
I will keep all of the same features as before, but will use this site as a blog to discuss writing, editing, photography, small business practices, organizations, technology, and Web development. I might also pop in something personal from time to time, but this will basically be a business blog.
