- 4 Paws for Ability is a 501(c)(3). Its primary goals are to achieve the following:
Provide as many people as possible, within the scope of our ability to serve, and with disabilities falling under the definition of such in the Americans With Disability Act (1990) with access to a qualified service animal trained specifically for their needs, regardless of age and severity of disability. To reduce the number of unwanted animals who would otherwise be destroyed by obtaining the majority of our animals from shelters and rescue groups. To increase public awareness of the laws regarding service animals and the value they provide their owners.
Arizona Business and Professional Women's Foundation The Arizona Business and Professional Women's Foundation was established in 1989 to further advance Arizona's working women through research, education, and scholarships. Our programs are designed to help women achieve economic freedom and more rewarding careers. It is a 501(c)(3).
- Free Donation.com has the mission of making the world a better place. At FreeDonation.com, you can make donations free of charge to causes such as AIDS and cancer research, food for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, vaccines for children and more. - Give.org is the site of the Better Business Bureau's Wise Giving Alliance formed by the merger of the National Charities Information Bureau and the Council of Better Business Bureaus' Foundation and its Philanthropic Advisory Service.
- Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is a nonprofit, nongovernmental funder of diabetes research. JDRF structures its research on a business-world model to ensure that resources are spent most effectively to accelerate progress toward finding a cure.
JDRF is the only major diabetes organization focused exclusively on research. Juvenile Diabetes is also known as Type 1 Diabetes.
- Lydia Place: Bellingham, Washington serves women and their children by offering shelter, individual and group parent training, case management, and a program that assists parents moving from poverty to self-sufficiency.
- The David and Minnie Meyerson Foundation The purpose of the David and Minnie Meyerson Foundation, a private operating foundation under IRS §4942 (j)(3), is to identify, promote and support endeavors likely to benefit people with disabilities, with a focus on children with disabilities. The foundation focuses primarily on children with physical disabilities. Disabilities may include deafness and hearing disorders, speech impairment, blindness and visual impairment, orthopedic disorders, spinal cord injury, mental retardation, autism, and others.
- Pope's Kids Place: Centralia, Washington, provides medical care for children and children with disabilities in Centralia, Washington. In addition, Pope's provides both day care and respite care enabling parents and other primary care takers a needed break from the constant responsibilities of caring for their very severely disability children. The Meyerson Foundation Advocacy Project has partnered with Pope's Kids Place to expand the respite care services in the Lewis County community.
- Reliable Enterprises: Centralia, Washington, facilitates integration between clients and members of the community, in many cases developing new job opportunities with business that enhance the quality of the lives of clients, customers, and community.
- Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC), Phoenix, Arizona. SARRC conducts integrative research and fosters the educational resources that help children and families whose lives are impacted by autism and related disorders. Articles:
