I love Bellingham, Washington. I lived there the first 19 years of my life, and it was a place of beauty, change, and joy. Most of the time. I admit I feel cold/chilly when I'm in the area, and always take snuggly clothing when I visit. Today my cousin, Doug Cruea, sent his family a picture of Bellingham Bay, and it's such a perfect depiction of what the area looks like on a cold, crisp day in the winter. Although the Pacific Northwest, especially in the Puget Sound area, is chilly and windy, the weather is nothing like the storms that are battering the East Coast of our wonderful country. But in Washington, that can change in a hurry.
