Hawaiian Earthquake

I have close family members in the Hualalai Mountain area of the Big Island. In fact, I visited them in August.I was relieved to learn that they are okay, and that there's no structural damage. I have some pictures of the damage, and of the area where the quake originated, many miles below the surface...

That picture looks just like our kitchen after it hit. I also have a fairly good sized crevasse in the ground outside my bedroom. It's not my fault I live on a fault line. I was writing an article when it hit and went running through the house yelling EARTHQUAKE! RUN! I almost jumped out a screened window. I thought the house would fall. It was very scary. I thought we were goners.
