Hawaiian Earthquake
I have close family members in the Hualalai Mountain area of the Big Island. In fact, I visited them in August.I was relieved to learn that they are okay, and that there's no structural damage. I have some pictures of the damage, and of the area where the quake originated, many miles below the surface...

Breast cancer loss becomes a gain for other cancer victims
My longtime Internet colleague, coywriting guru Michel Fortin, recently shared how he and his wife, Sylvie, discovered she had breast cancer just weeks before their wedding. Heartbreaking. But they're both fighting back.
