Goose Teeth? Absolutely!

Recently, my niece Michell Burton came to visit her grandparents, David and Janet Crook. One day she and I went to Glendale Industrial Park to see what the ducks and geese were up to. One never knows!

Above is a closeup shot Michelle took of one of the White Chinese Geese that appeared to be nesting. Once we saw the picture in the monitor, we realized it had teeth. Amazing. I did some research and discovered that these teeth are called lamellae, and they're used as a cutting tool. Following is a more detailed closeup so you can see those beautiful teeth! And following that is a redigitized shot I took of Michelle as she photographed the goose.

Great shot, Michelle! She takes after her grandpa! And is she photogenic! See above.
